Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between cabinet refinishing and cabinetry refacing?
Cabinet Refinishing: We utilize your existing cabinet doors and drawers, restoring them to a new look either through a wood tone color or a painted finish. Most opt for colors like white, gray, or a combination, while some prefer walnut, cherry, or mahogany tones.
Cabinet Refacing: This involves removing old doors and drawer faces and replacing them with a new style of your choice. The new styles can be finished in any color or style you desire, providing a fresh appearance without the need for entirely new cabinets. We have samples pictures for you to chose from.
How long does cabinetry finishing take versus cabinet refacing?
Cabinet Refinishing: Typically completed within a couple of days, allowing for a swift transformation.
Cabinet Refacing: Takes longer as we order doors from a specialized factory, which usually takes 2 to 3 weeks before they arrive at our shop for finishing.
What is the price difference between cabinetry finishing, cabinet refacing, and new cabinets?
Cabinet Refinishing: Starting at around $2,500 to $3,000, it is the most economical option, providing renewed cabinets while retaining the existing ones.
Cabinet Refacing: Priced start at around $6,000 or more, depending on the project size.
New Cabinets: This option can start from $12,000 to $14,000 for a new kitchen. For accurate pricing, contacting us for a customized quote is recommended.
